MY FUTURE is in my beloved home country, Aotearoa, New Zealand.
After twenty-five years in wonderful Australia I have returned to complete a project that has been thirty-six years in the making.
All that I need to bring it to its climax are the walls and the roof. However, not just any walls and roof: ideally, a Medieval Castle.
As fortune would have it, there is the perfect Castle for sale in Tirau, South Waikato: CASTLE PAMELA.
This Castle needs me as much as I need it and I am in love with this castle.
Why does the Castle need me?
There are large numbers of Medieval enthusiasts who would relish such a space. However, if a developer were to buy the 2.4787 hectares (6.1250 acres) of land, their choice would be to bulldoze the castle to make room for houses. Not an option I see in my Future.
On my first visit, the Castle ‘clairvoyantly asked’ me, “Please help me?!” and I hadn’t even gone inside…..
Why is this Castle perfect for me? I have been searching for the ideal castle since 1983.
Castle Pamela is Iconic. Also unfinished – so I can add my flair. Its location is beyond perfect; so easily accessible to both locals and tourists.
With its huge gallery space, Stag Hall, Café, accommodation area, and extensive land area, which affords it room to grow in the future: offering many alternative uses such as a theatre, accommodation, Museum of Art and Design, school dormitories, library and the possibility of a Medieval village:
all to be used by day trippers to conferences, international and local guest speakers, workshops, themed Balls and much more!
My ideal is that this Castle will never be sold in the future, as I would like it to become self-sustainable and continue in a Trust, as the permanent Home of my Visionary Art after my death.
To achieve this Future, the Castle and I both need help.
I returned to New Zealand on a promise of financial assistance, that was unable to be fulfilled. My mission now is to find a way to make this happen.
THE CASTLE will be a SANCTUARY of INSPIRATION, CREATIVE EXPRESSION, EDUCATION, PERSONAL GROWTH, UNDERSTANDING, CONNECTEDNESS, CARING FOR THE PLANET, WORKING FOR THE GOOD OF ALL, DISCOVERING OUR UNIQUE CREATIVITY, SEEING BEAUTY EVERYWHERE, CELEBRATING OUR DIFFERENCES, COMPASSION and A WAY OF LIVING THAT INVOLVES CARING FOR ALL: LOVE, JOY and HONOURING EVERYONE and EVERY LIVING THING.
At this pivotal time of change for our planet, and for ourselves, we will need educational, healing sanctuaries.
